The Upcycling Company Expands Glass Collection Throughout South Carolina

As demand for quality glass continues to increase, The Upcycling Company expands partnerships with cities, communities, and business partners across South Carolina.

Beaufort County, S.C. was the first partnership with The Upcycling Company to participate in the glass recycling program with four drop locations and a goal of recycling 50% in 2022. Following this announcement, Lexington County, Horry County (Myrtle Beach), Hampton County, the City of Brunswick, and Fisher Recycling Center all signed on to participate in ‘glass only’ collection programs.

“The response throughout South Carolina and Georgia has been overwhelmingly positive for The Upcycling Company to provide the ‘glass only’ recycling service”

– Chris Fisher / The Upcycling Company

The Upcycling Company continues to work with city and county officials and local businesses to increase awareness and partnerships around South Carolina with the goal of expanding throughout the U.S by late 2022.

We need the community’s help to grow the ‘glass only’ recycling program throughout the country. If you don’t have a glass drop location near you yet, fill out this form to request a drop site in your community. Increased interest from community residents and businesses will help us encourage city and county officials to participate.
